Followed the size chart. Still chasing these jeans

"I followed HATCH’s size chart and ordered an XL. Pre-pregnancy, I comfortably wore a 25, but my hips and butt have filled out significantly. I’m now wearing XL in non-maternity clothes and have struggled with some maternity mediums, so XL seemed reasonable. These arrived around 30 weeks and were HUGE. I tried to embrace the baggy look, but at times I genuinely thought they might fall down. At 35 weeks, they’re still loose. I like the silhouette, but constantly pulling them up takes away from it. Exactly why I wanted to rent before spending $200+ on jeans I might only wear for two months. I’d try a smaller size, but honestly don’t know whether to go with L or M."

I really like the pants,

"I really like the pants, they looks just like normal jeans and are very comfortable. But they did stretch a lot from when I initially tried them on in the store…to the point that I now need a belt, which kind of defeats the whole point of being stretchy. Guess I should have bought a size down. Hopefully they will fit right at some point"

Great fit but waist band runs small

"The overall fit is great but I wish the elastic in the waistband had a little more give. I’ve tried a couple hatch jeans with my current pregnancy and past pregnancy. The elastic doesn’t really stretch…which is needed for a growing belly. I did exchange these for a larger size due to the tight waistband. I also am petite and different inseam lengths would be great!"

"I am someone with a very short torso, so I ended up returning these because they sat way above my hips and the crotch was incredibly short but if I sized up, the waist would've been too big. I'm sure these jeans are great for some, but if you have a short torso, they might not be for you."

Tricky Sizing for Ecom Purchase

"Really liked these, but just don’t think this brand’s denim styles are designed for wider hips, or maybe just not good for this late in pregnancy (i just hit 30 wks). I’ve ordered a couple different ones and struggled now. I’m regularly a 25. Based on other brand. reviews indicating sizing running large, I initially ordered this style in 24, but it was way too small. Then I exchanged for 26, still too small through thighs and hips, can’t even button. Not sure I’ll try to keep going up another size, or maybe just return for an elastic/ or tie waist style at this point."
